Another major EastEnders return as Lisa Fowler is back in Walford for big story

-

Another EastEnders legend has announced their return to the soap opera just days after the news that Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) is returning from the dead.

For the first time in three years, Lucy Benjamin will return to the drama magnet Lisa Fowler.

The last time viewers saw Lisa, she was going through a difficult time that included losing her best friend Mel Owen and removing Louise from Albert Square after she gave birth to Peggy, the daughter of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).

Now that Lisa has returned with Peggy in tow, she has a surprise in store for Keanu. This will put him and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) in an awkward situation.

With their own child Albie, Keanu and Sharon are just beginning to plan their future together. However, the imminent return of Lisa and Peggy will completely upend their plans.

Even though it seems unlikely that Louise hasn’t heard that Keanu is still alive, it’s possible that she still doesn’t know.

In addition, Lisa and her ex-boyfriend Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) are certain to experience increased conflict.

It is unclear why Lisa is taking Peggy to see her father and where Louise is.

For the character and those she is returning for, a substantial storyline is promised.

“I can’t wait to make my return as Lisa Fowler again after leaving for Spain with Louise and my granddaughter Peggy back in 2019,” Lucy Benjamin said upon her return.

Playing her is such a pleasure because, without a doubt, in true Lisa fashion, she will bring with her plenty of drama for many of the characters on the Square.

‘I’m delighted to welcome Lucy back to the iconic role of Lisa Fowler,’ said Chris Clenshaw, executive producer. Three years ago, after Sharon and Keanu’s affair was made public over Christmas, Lisa and her daughter Louise left Walford.

We are overjoyed to have her back for a brief period because she and the happy couple’s granddaughter Peggy are a source of contention.

The rumors that Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and his deceased wife Cindy are set to make a comeback were recently confirmed by Metro.co.uk.

Recently, Adam and co-star Michelle Collins were seen filming on location.

Fans are both excited and perplexed about Cindy’s shocking return, and EastEnders chose not to respond when Metro.co.uk inquired about the story.
