Fans of Emmerdale will soon witness the arrival of a new character who is sure to cause a stir in the community.
The enduring ITV soap opera Emmerdale has announced that actress Flo Wilson will take on the role of Claudette, the mother of Vicar Charles Anderson (played by Kevin Mathurin), in the series.
A “force to be reckoned with,” the newcomer won’t hold back when it comes to speaking her mind, which could spark some debate among the villagers.
It will be obvious to viewers. Claudette is extremely proud of her family, especially when it comes to her grandson Ethan’s (Emile John) legal career and her son’s role as a vicar.
Although the newcomer regards Claudette as the family matriarch, her son Charles secretly finds Claudette to be intrusive.

ITV teased that the other villagers will soon learn not to get on the wrong side of her, so it appears that not just Charles thinks his mother is a bit much.
Claudette’s sudden return to her son’s life raises the question of why she made the decision to do so.
Executive producer Jane Hudson revealed that the cast and crew are overjoyed to welcome Flo to the ITV soap.
“We are thrilled to welcome Flo Wilson to the Emmerdale cast,” she said.

“We are excited for viewers to see her in action because we know that her talent and experience will add a new dimension to the show.
She will undoubtedly cause a stir in the Anderson family.
The actress, who has worked on both stage and screen for four decades, is best known for portraying Mrs. Wheatley in the television series Sanditon.
Emmerdale viewers may also be familiar with Flo from the shows Help, Mood, Top Boy, Brassic, and Death in Paradise.

The actress expressed her gratitude for being cast in her new role as Claudette in the ITV soap opera, saying, “I feel blessed that I was chosen to play Claudette and I hope to make the Emmerdale family proud of the work that I will do.”
Fans might have to wait a little longer to see Flo in the village, despite the fact that she has already begun filming, as her debut is anticipated for later this spring.
Kevin has previously collaborated with Flo, and he expressed his feelings when he learned that she would be joining Emmerdale.
When I saw her name on the sheet, I knew she’d be the ideal person to bring Claudette to life, the man remarked. Flo is a wonderful person, a fantastic actress, and she has already made herself at home.
