Coronation Street and Casualty Charles Dale star ‘skint’ as he gets divorce from wife


Charles Dale, a former cast member of Coronation Street, has spoken out about his difficulties on the day of his birthday, admitting that he is going through a divorce and is “skinny.”

The actor turned 60 this week and shared on social media that, despite what he’s going through, he feels “not too shabby.” The actor is best remembered for playing Dennis Stringer in the ITV serial between 2000 and 2002.

“Unemployed, poor, going through a difficult divorce,” yet because to the kindness of my family and friends, I don’t feel too bad.

Charles, who portrayed Mackenzie “Big Mac” Chalker in the television series Casualty, uploaded a photo of himself at a rooftop garden in Wales that had a view of the water.

Mark Charnock, who plays Marlon Dingle in Emmerdale, wrote: “A very happy birthday, Mr. D!!!” Friends and admirers were eager to express their support for Charles. Here’s some sort of cake, I suppose,” was followed by the emoji for cake.

One person posted on social media, “Happy Birthday.” A fresh start for your future.

“If you write it well, the book’s conclusion might be the most thrilling and fulfilling part!” Have a wonderful, wonderful day, Charlie!

Charles disclosed last year that he works at Dale’s Music with his sister Linzi and her husband Richard in his downtime from acting engagements.

Since 1947, when Charles’ grandfather owned the store, it has been in the family.

In 1964, Laurie, Charles’ father, then took over the business.
