Couple from Coronation Street Aggie Bailey and Ed Bailey have been dipping in and out of the lives of their neighbors lately because they haven’t had any major storylines.
The Coronation Street couple’s situation might change as a result of an awkward interaction they have with some old friends.
After downsizing from their previous home in Alderley Edge, Ed Bailey (played by Trevor Michael Georges) and Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) relocated to Weatherfield in 2019.
The family had been struggling financially due to Ed’s gambling addiction when they decided to move.
In upcoming scenes, Ed and Aggie are surprised to run into their former neighbors Patrick and Yvette while out for dinner.
When Yvette insists that they join them for the catch-up despite Aggie’s desire for a romantic evening with her husband, Aggie sulks in the background.
After their meal, Ed revealed to Dee-Dee Bailey (Shannique Sterling-Brown) why Aggie didn’t want to invite their former neighbors because she was worried she would be put out by where they now resided.
Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine), who is still close with Aggie, suggests she could take over their home for the afternoon and pretend it was her own.
How will Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) feel about Joe giving Aggie, a woman she previously accused him of having an affair with, the use of their home?
Sally paints on a smile, sensing that it’s going to be a disaster, but Aggie pushes aside her worries and begins to prepare dinner at No. 4.
Tim, dressed in Sally’s pink dressing gown, emerges from upstairs as Yvette and Patrick are about to compliment “their” home.
Will Yvette misunderstand Aggie and Ed’s situation and believe they reside with Tim and Sally?

The relationship between a man and a woman is acceptable. They are in a panic because they are concerned about what other people will think.
It’s extremely uncommon to see a man and a woman drinking beers together and giving each other advice out of pure friendship on Corrie.
