Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien), a character on Coronation Street, has been playing with fire ever since she started her ill-fated affair with Damon Hay (Ciarain Griffiths).
As she realizes that her marriage to Adam (Sam Robertson) might be over, she is forced to face the consequences of her actions the following week with everything in the open.

Adam is already convinced that she betrayed him for someone else, so this only fuels the fire.

Instead of lecturing the mother of two, Audrey encourages her to share her feelings with him.
After realizing she is correct, Sarah visits Adam and begs him to give her another chance, but he refuses.
Sarah turns the tables on him by implying that he is partially to blame for the situation because he was constantly at work and left her feeling unappreciated. This is a result of both frustration and power.
He makes it clear to her that he doesn’t buy her justification.
Nothing could possibly keep Adam in Weathersfield if a reconciliation wasn’t in the cards, so might he decide to leave now that he has nothing left to gain?
Actress Tina O’Brien thinks Sarah’s desire to be with Adam is sincere.
She said, “She does still really want to be with Adam, but the guilt, the feeling of disgust at herself, and also the realization that she could potentially have everything are just overwhelming.”
