Daisy Midgeley, who was still engaged to Daniel Osbourne, recently discovered herself in a love triangle as a result of her feelings for Ryan Connor.
When Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) rarely-seen son Bertie was mentioned by Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) in recent scenes, Coronation Street viewers were perplexed.
The response follows Daisy’s declaration to her fiancé Daniel that she wanted them to have their own home and start a family.
By which she was referring to his young son, who he had with his late wife Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn), who had also died.
Fans of Coronation Street were quick to inquire about Bertie’s whereabouts, however, as @lliss19 asked: “Where’s Bertie?”
Greg Phillips made the following comment: “Me, you, and Bertie, we need a place of our own. Shouldn’t be too concerned about Bertie because the poor boy spends his entire life with the childminder.
Bertie is never around, As @FillsWhales continued, @Boppity_Boo34 joked, “The Amazing Invisible Bertie.”
Tweeted @penniless_poet: “Me. You and Bertie require a home of our own, particularly now that Social Services will be inquiring as to why we continue to lock Bertie in the cupboard.

After unexpectedly falling in love with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) while catfishing him as Crystal, Daisy decides she wants to leave Weatherfield.
After his acid attack earlier this year, she grew close to him and they exchanged a few private kisses as it became obvious they had a connection.
Fans of the ITV soap opera, however, saw Ryan confront Daisy on Wednesday night after realizing that she had been deceiving him the entire time.
Daisy was incensed at her for the betrayal and adamant that her motivation was to protect him from harm after the Ibiza DJ rejected him.
Reeling, he tried to tell Daniel about their kisses but was unable to because he had already told Daisy that he would never want to see her again.
In response to a question from Metro about Daniel’s potential reaction to learning about Daisy and Ryan’s relationship, Rob Mallard said: “In a strange way, all the events have made Daniel love Daisy even more because it has had the unintended consequence of allowing Daisy to be more vulnerable with him which has made him fall even more in love with her.
Daniel would feel terrible. He would likely be more enraged with Ryan than Daisy. He would be devastated by Daisy’s betrayal, and their relationship would change as a result.
“Even if Daniel were to pardon Daisy if she had shown that she was capable of being unfaithful, he would never forget it.
“I believe it would increase their level of turbulence as a couple and increase their propensity to mistrust one another.”
