Coronation Street fans predict downward spiral for Craig Tinker as Faye leaves

Fans watched as Faye Windass made the decision to leave Weatherfield in order to be with her daughter and ex-boyfriend on Wednesday’s episode of Coronation Street. However, fans speculate that her departure might be the reason for Craig’s demise.
Fans of the ITV soap opera have watched Faye (Ellie Leach) rekindle her relationship with Jackson (Joseph Evans), her estranged daughter and former partner, since Jackson’s return to the cobbles.

Jackson suggested that Faye go to Slough with them after they shared a kiss, but Faye said that she wanted to stay with Craig Tinker (Colson Smith).

It soon became apparent, though, that she had other interests and was only staying with Craig out of concern that he would call the police on her for the hit-and-run incident she was engaged in last year that ended in a fatality.

In the episode airing on Wednesday, just as Jackson and Miley (Frankie-Jae Simmonds) were about to leave, Craig decided it would be best if Faye accompanied them.

Fans of Coronation Street followed his advise and watched her leave with her new family, breaking Craig’s heart.

Although some believe her departure marks the beginning of Craig’s decline and some have even said that he might now be persuaded to contact the police in retaliation or even commit murder.

“Is Craigie going to murder Faye?” questioned Beardybill1.

Craig is currently en route to the police station to turn Faye in after she dumped him, according to Dee_Cee95x.

Craig will have a meltdown without this girl, TweetieeTy continued.

“Craig giving Faye the choice to stay or leave for a new life with Jackson and her child,” raged JamieSummersTV. What a tyrannical beast! He resembles Geoff exactly.

“Craig’s turning coercive,” tweeted floweroflondon.

I feel like they’re nearly making Craig out to be a villain, tweeted TweetieeTy. My 2023 bingo card does not include Craig becoming a villain.

Ellie Leach, an actress who left the soap opera after 12 years, said that it was very painful to record those farewell scenes.

She told The Mirror: “The saddest part is when she’s in the taxi and we just see Craig walking down the street by himself, and she’s like, ‘Stop the car,’ gets out, and says, ‘I’ll always love you, I always have and I always will.'”

“I think it was just so emotional, and you can see that there are two people who do love each other here, but there are so many other things going on, love isn’t always enough, and I think you can see that in that last scene,” the author said.

It was quite emotional because I’ve been here for my entire life and Faye has been here for 12 years.
