After her failed relationship with Ryan Connor, Bethany Platt, a young cast member of Coronation Street, left the cobbles in 2020. However, her fans are confident that she will return.
Stephen Reid, the most recent serial killer on Coronation Street (played by Todd Boyce), has already killed three people from Wethersfield and shows no signs of stopping.
Fans, however, are certain that Lucy Fallon’s Bethany Platt will return to the cobbles in order to reveal Stephen and will work with an unlikely local.
On Reddit, user jessperson_ posted the following theory: “Bethany returns out of concern for Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls).
“Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) secretly dates Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien), and while pretending to be a nice guy, secretly assists Bethany in figuring out Stephen’s financial wrongdoing in relation to Audrey’s property.
But Sarah freaks out because she believes he’s trying to date Bethany. OR Stephen suffers the consequences of a well-planned, strategic attack.

But would she be f***ing over Sarah at the same time if she did? However, if Sarah suspects that she is having an affair with Damon, they will still fight. (sic)

“When she came back, she’d start looking into Audrey’s finances or any anomalies in her property records.
Knowing about Damon’s past, she would seek his assistance and suggest that Sarah is in trouble in an effort to appeal to his sympathy.
