Two well-known soap opera actors have joined Coronation Street as a part of a hot summer storyline involving Aadi Alahan.
Ryan Early, a regular on Archers, and Stephanie Davis, a star of Hollyoaks, have been cast as two newcomers to Coronation Street who are ready to rock the cobbles.
Although Stephanie will be joining the ITV mainstay as Courtney Vance, she is best known for her role as Sinead O’Connor in the Channel 4 soap opera.
Courtney is the stunning spouse of Darren, who will be seen as a professional associate of Jimmi Harkishin’s Dev Alahan.
Ryan will play Darren and is well-known for playing Lee Bryce, Helen Archer’s love interest, in the BBC radio soap opera Archers.
But the center of the steamy new story will be Dev’s son Aadi (Adam Hussain), who Courtney has set her sights on as a toyboy.

It doesn’t take long for Aadi to become entangled in a web of lies as crafty Courtney arranges for the two to meet up behind Dev and Darren’s backs.
However, the unexpected resident is sure to stir up some trouble because he finds himself in the way of a marriage.
The Coronation Street scenes are scheduled to begin filming this week, and Stephanie and Ryan will make an appearance in July.
Stephanie said, “I am beyond thrilled to be joining the cast of Coronation Street, playing the part of Courtney Vance.

“As Aadi risks everything for Courtney, he will soon discover that he is way out of his depth.
And although he is having the time of his life, he risks getting into a lot of trouble.
Will Dev identify a problem with his son as he begins the perilous relationship?
The young man who is unlucky in love will probably find that he has taken on too much when things start to get heated.
