The character of Daisy Midgeley on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, played by Charlotte Jordan, has been teased by actor Ryan Prescott.
After being involved in a terrifying acid attack by her stalker Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still), Daisy has been drawn to Ryan Connor.
Rob Mallard, who plays Ryan, has spoken out about whether he thinks Daisy and Ryan might end up dating despite the fact that Daisy is still engaged to Daniel Osbourne.
The 34-year-old soap star said, “There’s definitely a chance, and he’s rooting for it.
“When you’ve experienced a very violent situation together, you become closer.
“So there’s always this silent bond between Ryan and Daisy, and I think we get to expand on that a little bit,” he said, according to Digital Spy.
“Despite his desire to deny it to himself, Ryan is essentially falling in love with Daisy. That is incorporated into his denial.
The actor added that because Ryan respects Daniel, any potential romance would put the men in a very awkward position.
