Lucy Fallon, a former cast member of Coronation Street, has given birth!
The Bethany Platt actress made the happy news of her new motherhood to her followers on Sunday.
After previously experiencing a miscarriage, Lucy announced her pregnancy to the world back in September, which brought her some much-needed excitement.
The actress and her football player boyfriend Ryan Ledson are now a family of three after she shared the cutest photo of them holding their infant.
Lucy captioned the touching image, “Our precious boy,” along with the day, January 30.
The couple is pictured in black and white holding their little baby while lounging on the sofa, and Lucy is delightfully beaming.
Naturally, the pair received a ton of love and congratulations from admirers and well-known friends.
“Congratulations to both of you. Gorgeous news, Lucy,” said Samia Longchambon.
“So pleased for you, my wonderful buddy,” Helen Flanagan replied.
Mollie Gallagher, Lucy’s co-star, wrote: “Awww congratulations,” and Jane Danson added, “How amazing- enormous congratulations Lucy xx.”

But at the same time, Lucy has boldly disclosed that she miscarried in March. The pair discovered the heartbreaking news when they went in for an early seven-week ultrasound.
It was a “traumatizing, awful time,” she said. When they were performing all these scans, Lucy said, “I had pregnancy symptoms and I was feeling really sick, and when they were doing all these scans my symptoms were becoming worse and worse and there were no signs I had had a miscarriage, so it made it even more of a shock.”
The pregnant tissue had to be removed via surgery for the actress.
She praised Ryan for his unwavering support during the tragic time, and the football star acknowledged that it had been a very trying moment for him as well.
He continued by saying that until he spoke to others who had experienced the same thing, he had no idea how typical the experience was.
The pair went on to say that although they were shocked to become pregnant so soon after the miscarriage, it was obviously “meant to happen.”
