Since his return to Weatherfield last year, Stephen Reid of Coronation Street has made a lot of enemies, and a few of the actors are concerned for the future of their characters.
Glenda Shuttleworth, portrayed by Jodie Prenger on Coronation Street, has voiced her opinion about Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), but the actress is now concerned for the fate of her character as his outburst is about to end.
Glenda currently runs the theater company Little Big Shotz while working at the Rovers Return alongside Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and Jenny Connor (Sally-Ann Matthews).
Glenda has been wary of Stephen ever since he arrived, especially after he made it clear he had feelings for Jenny.
After pointing out a previous clue that could lead to her character being killed by the serial killer, actress Jodie Prenger is now concerned for her.
Jodie explained to Digital Spy that Glenda has never liked him because he stole that £10 note. She recognizes it, is that right? Glenda, in my opinion, makes decisions based on gut feelings, and I doubt that she views him favorably.
She continued, “Of course, it’s a worry. The entire cast is constantly concerned that they could be Stephen’s next victim.
“Because you can never predict what will occur! What if I am caught by him? Everyone would have to affirm that Glenda was correct.
However, recent set photos show Stephen making a frantic run for the airport while being pursued by Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine), suggesting that the cast may be safe for the time being.
Recent pictures show Stephen arriving at the airport in distress and without luggage, which could indicate that his flight is a last-minute one to avoid being discovered.
Leo Thompkins’ (Joe Frost), Teddy Thompkins’ (Grant Burgin), and Rufus Donahue’s (Steve Meo) murders have been kept a secret by Stephen.
The fact that David Platt actor Jack P Shepherd hinted that his character is crucial to Stephen’s downfall further supports the idea that Glend might be safe for the time being.
Jack teased: “Things are getting on top of him and people are starting to find out,” in a separate interview with Digital Spy.
“And even though I haven’t read it yet, I believe I’m heavily involved in it! I’ve heard that I am. I’ve been told I’m in it, so that’s nice.
