Kathy Beale from EastEnders is excited to marry Tom “Rocky” Cotton, and her grandson Bobby Beale wants to make the occasion as memorable as possible for her.
The Gillian Taylforth character Kathy Beale has finally been able to start making final preparations for her wedding, and on Wednesday she made a wish regarding the guest list.
The steadfast EastEnders cast member exclaimed with joy to her family on Wednesday: “The more the merrier, I want everyone there – friends, family – a real celebration.”
And it wouldn’t be right without my son there, too, she quickly added. Ian must attend the nuptials.
Since making a shocking exit from the soap opera in January 2021, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) hasn’t been seen.
Will Bobby (Clay Milner Russell), who is adamant about making Kathy’s wedding fantasies a reality, be successful in persuading Ian to attend and meeting Kathy’s other guestlist expectations?
According to official BBC soap spoilers, Bobby will keep trying to assist Rocky in bringing guests to Kathy’s wedding to Walford.
Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) exhorts his friend to take any necessary measures to obtain RSVPs from each visitor.
Later, Bobby struggles to do so and is unsuccessful; however, who could have declined the invitation?
Although Kathy commends her grandson for his efforts, Bobby is unyielding.
Could Ian be the one to decline the invitation to his mother’s wedding?
Kathy emphasized how crucial it would be for him to show up on the big day, but the well-known figure hasn’t been in Walford for a while.
After Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) attempted to poison him before changing her mind, he left under explosive circumstances.
But at Dot Cotton’s (June Brown) funeral last year, Ian made a fleeting appearance.
As mourners gathered to pay tribute to the Albert Square legend, Ian watched from outside the church without the other guests’ knowledge.
He stood behind a tree and said, “Goodbye, Dot,” with tears in his eyes.
Fans of EastEnders will be aware that Ian will unexpectedly make a comeback alongside Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), his “dead” wife.
Could the couple’s big comeback—a move that will surprise Walford—happen on the wedding day?
