Elaine Carter, played by Harriet Thorpe, the mother of Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), who recently appeared as Linda’s new co-owner of The Vic, shocked Albert Square locals.
Three new faces will move to Walford to join Elaine’s family, according to verified EastEnders spoilers.
Soon, George Knight (Colin Salmon), together with daughters Anna (Molly Rainford) and Gina (Francesca Henry), will make his EastEnders debut.
Linda will be shocked to learn that her mother has invited the trio to stay at The Vic, but it appears that the BBC soap opera favourite will learn something shocking about the group when the family is settling into the Square.
In yet-to-air sequences, Linda will fight off the invasion of the Knight family as Elaine and George, who are in love, settle in.

Elaine tells Linda that nine years ago, Anna and Gina’s mother abandoned George and the family and never looked back. When Steve McFadden’s Phil Mitchell schedules a meeting with George to negotiate a new bar, pie, and fight collaboration between The Vic and The Boxing Den, Linda is enraged.
Linda overhears George talking on the phone later and knows he hasn’t sold his Marbella pub and is hence short on funds to sustain The Vic finances.
George proposes to Elaine and the other patrons of The Vic as Linda yells at him and the girls to leave.
Elaine is unsure of her response, but Linda pushes her to break up with George since she believes he is a gold-digger.
George asks Phil for help at The Boxing Den, and Phil advises him to fight for what he wants.
Later, George and Elaine discuss their future and decide whether it will be together or separated.
However, a doubtful Linda quickly learns something about George’s pub in Marbella that she thinks would change the situation, so she confronts him.
Linda, who is desperate to expose George, interrogates the girls during lunch in order to gather information.
Will her investigation into George’s past produce the results she desires?

Colin, who plays the lead role in George, said of his character: “I think he’s a wonderful man. He is a decent man because, like me in real life, he has been surrounded by powerful women.
He remarked, “He recognises a fellow warrior – and there are some interesting parallels between them that will be explored,” in reference to George’s initial view of Linda. He is very impressed by Linda’s ability to remain composed in the wake of Mick’s passing.
George is also astounded by Linda’s courage, but given that she is Elaine’s daughter, he is not at all surprised. He appreciates the formidable warrior she is.
