In the upcoming episode of EastEnders, Linda Carter will struggle through her first Valentine’s Day alone and learn shocking news about the future of The Queen Vic.
After Mick’s tragic drowning, the pub landlord had originally intended to sell her beloved establishment, but she has since vowed to remain there in his honor.
But Linda will be in for a shock the following week when her attorney informs her that Janine still intends to sell Mick’s share of The Vic, putting her employment at the bar in jeopardy.
It occurs as Linda, who is relying on Sharon Watts, struggles ahead of a Valentine’s Day gathering while avoiding the anniversary of the passing of her son Denny.
Will Sharon step in to save Linda as her future is threatened by the question of whether she can continue to own The Vic?
After Mick (Danny Dyer) allegedly got lost at sea while trying to save Linda (Kellie Bright), she struggles on her first Valentine’s Day without him in the scenes that follow.
After learning the truth about his wife Janine’s framing of Linda and confessing his love for her, Mick performed his brave act before exiting the show in a heart-pounding finale where he ended up lost at sea.
Three years after the teen drowned in a Thames boat accident, Sharon (Letitia Dean) tries to avoid thinking about Denny’s death by helping Linda (Linda) get ready for The Vic’s Valentine’s Day party.
After a rough night, Linda confides in Sharon that Janine (Charlie Brookes), who is still interested in selling Mick’s share of The Vic, has called her.
When it became clear that Janine was to blame for Linda’s car crash, she made an attempt to flee the Square and was eventually apprehended on Boxing Day.
The two go to the café to make plans, but it quickly becomes clear that Linda might have to downsize.
Later, Sharon makes Linda an irresistible offer out of her desire to help her friend.
In order to secure Linda’s future at The Vic, Sharon continues to move forward with her plans to purchase Mick’s share of the business.
Suki is presented as a potential buyer by Eve after she overhears the conversations in an effort to regain Suki’s trust. Will this strategy succeed?
The actress Kellie said, “We just finished filming some Valentine’s Day stuff. There’s a little picture of Mick up behind the bar. I wish him a happy Valentine’s Day and blow him a kiss.”
In that way, he is still very present for her. I’m excited about the fact that I’m a part of something that will be quite significant.
Chris Clenshaw, the show’s creator, recently hinted that Linda would have a significant storyline in 2023 as she tried to cope with Mick’s passing.
“Kellie will begin shooting something in January that airs in February, and it’s something that we as a show have never done before,” he said. In the middle of that is Linda.
Next week, Ryan Malloy will make a major revelation elsewhere, upsetting his pregnant daughter Lily Slater when he returns to Walford.
When the bad boy learns that 12-year-old Lily is expecting a child, he unexpectedly returns to Albert Square. However, Lily’s mother Stacey is not pleased with the bad boy’s presence.
And when Ryan’s grand scheme is revealed, the Slater family is rocked to its core.
