EastEnders Ravi Gulati and Chelsea romance ‘back on’ after affair heartbreak

-

Viewers of EastEnders saw Ravi Gulati in tears after Chelsea Fox ended their relationship after finding out about his affair with her mother. However, it appears that she might change her mind because upcoming scenes hint that a reunion is imminent.

Fans of the BBC soap opera saw Denise Fox (played by Diane Parish), who betrayed her husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), get involved with Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) earlier this year.

Ravi decided to end their brief fling after realizing that Jack was the only man for her, and in an effort to make her jealous, he turned his attention to her daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams).

Ravi was equally determined to learn what details Jack had managed to compile while looking into his criminal activity.

However, the Walford resident was devastated when she learned about the affair with her mother and ended their relationship because she had not anticipated having sincere feelings for Chelsea.

However, there is still hope for Ravi because official spoilers indicate he has a strategy to win her back.

Ravi chooses to speak with Chelsea’s closest friends Finlay and Felix Baker (Ashley Byam and Matthew Morrison), seeing them as a possible entry point back into her life.

He hopes that by giving the pair some business advice, he will be able to prove to Chelsea that he is not completely evil.

Later, before going to the pub quiz, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) tries to persuade Chelsea to settle her differences with Finlay, Felix, and Zack Hudson (James Farrar).

The team starts working on the questions there, but Chelsea is called away when she notices Ravi drinking by himself.

Whitney encourages Chelsea and there is a glimmer of hope that their relationship can be saved because it is obvious that there are still feelings between them.

Later on in the week, Chelsea and her mother put on a brave face, giving the impression that everyone has forgiven each other.

They put their differences aside and come together for Lola Pearce’s (Danielle Harold) racing day celebrations despite their severe falling out.

Aaron Thiara, who plays the role of Ravi, said that while his character doesn’t regret blackmailing Denise because it helped obtain information, it’s different when it comes to hurting Chelsea.

“Does he regret how far it went, that he fell in love, and does he now hate himself because he was blinded and didn’t keep his head straight throughout all of this?” he questioned.

“Possibly. I believe that there is more self-hatred than regret.

Having said that, he regrets greatly having broken Chelsea’s heart.

Monday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on BBC One is more EastEnders.
