After Jack Branning’s (Scott Maslen) meddling resulted in him being barred from being a father to his unborn child in EastEnders, Ricky Mitchell (Frankie Day) has responded.
After it was revealed earlier this year that Lily Slater (Lillia Turner), who is also 12 years old, is carrying the boy’s child, the 12-year-old boy is about to become a father.
Jack was shocked to learn of the pregnancy and rushed over to the Slater home, insisting that Lily undergo an abortion right now because a child would ruin their lives as teenagers.
But Stacey (Lacey Turner) refused to let Jack force her daughter into an abortion, and she ordered him to stop. Jack, being Jack, didn’t listen, and on Monday’s (January 30) episode of the BBC One soap opera, he went too far.

The policeman learned during the serial drama’s outing that Ricky intended to assist Lily in raising the child. This new information brought him right up to the Slaters’ front door, where he reinforced his opinion that Lily had to have an abortion.
However, Stacey and Martin Fowler (James Bye) rejected these assertions and ordered Jack to leave. However, the detective meddled once again where he wasn’t wanted, chatting to Lily in private and making the implication that if she carries the pregnancy to term, life will be challenging.

Lily was devastated by Jack’s harsh words, and she told Stacey about them. Stacey was indignant as she approached Jack at his home and informed him that neither he nor his family will be involved with the kid.
After overhearing and becoming saddened that his father’s actions might have prevented him from becoming a parent, Ricky called his mother Sam (Kim Medcalf), who then came to collect her son’s belongings. Ricky then shocked his father by announcing that he is moving in with his mother!
Ricky was adamant on leaving Jack and moving in with Sam, despite Jack’s best efforts to persuade him otherwise and his eventual apology for his terrible behavior.
