EastEnders bad guy Ravi Gulati is a strong candidate to be eliminated from the Christmas murder plot because of the numerous enemies he has amassed during his brief stay in Walford. Things are going to “go up a notch” for the character, according to actor Aaron Thiara.
Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), who moved to Walford in July of last year, has caused quite a stir.
The actor has now addressed rumors that he is the character who dies suddenly this Christmas.
In a historical flash forward earlier this year, EastEnders foreshadowed the death of a resident of Albert Square.
In the scenario, which took place on Christmas Day in the Queen Vic, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) was dressed in a bridal gown as a man’s body lay on the floor.
They were joined by Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Denise Branning (Diane Parish), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
Many fans have hypothesized that the body is Ravi since he consistently manages to irritate the locals.
“I am powerless against fan speculations. Thoughtful remarks have been made, such as “No, you can’t be the body on the floor!” Aaron spoke with Inside Soap.
He acknowledged that Ravi has many adversaries and that many characters want to get rid of him.
What I can say is that there will be a lot happening in the next months, and the stakes get higher as Christmas approaches for Ravi.
Ravi’s affair with Denise over the past few months has ruined her family.
Additionally, because of his involvement in Ravi’s shady business operations, Keanu Taylor, Sharon’s partner played by Danny Walters, ended up in the hospital.
Suki also has a reason to want him gone because she now thinks she killed Ranveer, her business partner.
Ravi actually committed the crime, and he has allowed her to carry the shame.
This is made worse by the fact that her son Kheerat (Jaz Deol) accepted responsibility for the incident thinking that he was defending his mother.
His recent sentencing for the murder just made Suki more distraught, and if the truth is out, it will offer her an excellent excuse for murder.
Aaron was shocked to see that the character was up for Villain Of The Year at the British Soap Awards despite all of his flaws.
Despite the fact that Ravi has committed evil deeds, he is not to me an outright villain, he said.
Although there are explanations for his actions that don’t excuse them, he has a variety of faces and tints.
“We really wanted to hit on the note of a character you love to hate,” said the production team.
