Future scenes are expected to reveal Caleb Milligan, a newcomer to Emmerdale, and force him to deal with the Dingles’ wrath.
Despite betraying his own family, Caleb Milligan (played by Will Ash) is determined to remain in the village despite the fact that his lies are about to catch up with him.
According to Emmerdale’s official spoilers, Caleb is thrown off a woodland ridge and left for dead, but who is responsible?
The businessman ends up fighting with several villagers before that, starting with the Dingle family.
When Caleb moves into the B&B, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is furious. Nate (Jurrell Carter), who wants to avoid a fight, suggests that they let Caleb’s family make that decision.
The Dingle Court meets that afternoon to discuss Caleb’s fate. Members of the court include Belle (Ellen Taylor-Draper), Cain, Charity (Emma Atkins), Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Moira (Natalie J. Robb), Nate, Noah (Jack Downham), Sam (James Hooton), and Zak (Steve Halliwell).
When the defendant unexpectedly shows up and declares he’s going to stay in the village, the court is turned on its head. But will it be his decision?

Although Gabby (Rosie Bentham), who is still reeling from her breakup, shows up for work at Home Farm, her support comes from Nicky (Lewis Cope) and her family.
When Caleb tries to apologize to Leyla (Roxy Shahidi), she rejects him as well. Charity is devastated to see Mack (Lawrence Robb) and Chloe (Jessie Elland) getting close and offers Caleb a drink.
They quickly become friends over wine and find comfort in one another, though Charity and Caleb decide to keep last night’s events private the following day.
After her humiliating heartbreak, Gabby is hesitant to approach the villagers. Her worries are realized to be unfounded when a heated argument with Caleb leaves her upset.

Leyla accepts Caleb’s invitation to join him for lunch in the pub, and just as she starts to forgive him, a fight between Charity and Mackenzie results in the shocking revelation that rivets the entire establishment.
After Charity admits she slept with Caleb, there is chaos in the bar, and Mack confronts Caleb out of jealous rage.
After her altercation with Caleb and Will (Dean Andrews), Gabby is upset when she gets home and simmers with resentment on her behalf.
When Cain learns what Charity has done, he is also unimpressed. Later, when he learns that Vinny (Bradley Johnson) is selling out to Caleb, Cain becomes enraged.
When Cain is provoked by Caleb, he lunges for Caleb, but Chas and Moira manage to dissuade him. Later, Caleb infuriates Mack even more; Mack had only come to apologize for yesterday.
Mack, who is enraged, ominously assures him that there will be repercussions.

Will is still furious with Caleb, and David (Matthew Wolfenden), who is doing everything in his power to stop his ex from relapsing, reassures Leyla that they will be able to witness Caleb’s retribution from a distance.
The villagers band together against Caleb that afternoon after a heated argument in the pub. Caleb confronts them all and verbally attacks each of them.
Chas hurls him out of the building out of frustration as the others glare bloody murder. Unbeknownst to Caleb, a shadowy figure follows him as he walks away.
On a woodland ridge that evening, Caleb is blindsided by an advancing unknown figure who pushes him over the edge; his lifeless body is left sprawled on the ground below.
After going on enigmatic excursions, several untrustworthy characters arrive back in the village.
Caleb’s body is at the base of the ridge, lifeless, beneath a serene Yorkshire view. It is unknown who pushed him, though.
