Emmerdale exit for Dawn Taylor as she lands new role away from Home Farm

-

Dawn Taylor of Emmerdale had hoped to work with Kim Tate in a senior capacity at Home Farm.
Since her father Will (Dean Andrews) wed Kim Tate, Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) has been relocating to Home Farm with her husband Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle), and son Lucas (Claire King). Kim had hoped that the beloved Emmerdale character would come and work there, but it appears that Home Farm is not the right place for her.

Dawn is thrilled in upcoming episodes when Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) welcomes her back to the veterinary clinic.

She offers Dawn the chance to train as a veterinary nurse, but she also has another surprise in store for her.

Kim and Dawn decide to try and work things out after hearing the news.

Could this signal Dawn and her family’s departure from Home Farm?

As Dawn exits the company, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) steps in and presents Kim with her suggestion for updating the company’s online presence.

When Kim stops by to discuss the brochure she has been working on, Gabby is overjoyed.

When Kim asserts that she is not even close to being prepared to run the company, she leaves her inconsolable.

Kim is soon impressed by Laurel Thomas’ (Charlotte Bellamy) work after she offers some food for thought.

Could Dawn decide that her family should re-establish their own home now that Gabby has a more prominent role at Home Farm?

Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), who is in the hospital and is being urged by David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden), to lie to the police about the stabbing, is located elsewhere in the village.

Although his father’s request causes Jacob some conflict, he decides to tell the police a lie.

David is shocked to learn that Eric has made an offer to buy the shop while he is still at home (Chris Chittell).

David feels guilty about Eric’s decision to put is retirement on hold and help him out.

The shopkeeper is happy to be able to keep both his home and his company, though.

Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) presses David for information about son Jacob while David is overjoyed about his shop.

She is eager to learn what the teen told the police about the stabbing, but David is adamant about remaining silent.

Leyla must continue to keep her distance from their son if he is to be kept safe, he reiterates.

Will Leyla submit to David’s demands, though, given that he is acting duplicitously and preventing her from seeing Jacob?
