Jai Sharma, a resident of Emmerdale, is about to experience the shock of his life when he learns that more than one member of his family has betrayed him.
According to ITV’s official spoilers, Jai Sharma’s (Chris Bisson’s) family is about to fall apart after he learns a family secret.
In upcoming Emmerdale scenes, Jai attempts to arrange a family vacation, but things get complicated when he selects the honeymoon suite.
But his beloved Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) interprets it as a sign and eventually proposes to Jai.
They talk happily about the best way to share their news after her proposal is happily accepted.
Jai, however, quickly realizes that in order to get married, he must obtain his divorce certificate, so he goes to his father’s to gather his legal records.
Amidst the clutter, Jai pulls out an old box during his search and finds an official document. Upon closer inspection, he realizes something is off.
The following day, Jai loses his temper at work because he is still extremely upset about his discovery.
Laurel, an ex-addict, is concerned about his possible reaction and urges him to speak with his parents.
Before Jai erupts in rage and reveals that he is aware of the secret that the rambling Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel) has been concealing for all these years, Rishi is unaware when he arrives.
Jai is shocked by his father’s feeble justification and realizes that Rishi is obviously lying through his teeth by withholding the truth from him.
The following day, Jai is furious and drives his father away after learning that Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) has been aware of the secret since their marriage.
Will Jai, however, be able to overlook Rishi’s transgressions? Or will their family be permanently shattered?

Jai searches for these divorce decrees and knocks over a box, discovering some old photographs as well as a long-kept secret that will change Jai’s life, the speaker said.
He had no forewarning or conception that anything like this might occur to him.
He is shocked and unsure of how to process the fact that his dad and mother have been keeping this a secret for many years.
Then, after giving it some more thought, he becomes increasingly angry over being duped.
“I’m not sure that things between Jai and Rishi or Jai and his parents, I should say, will ever be the same,” he continued.
However, if they are honest with him, he will have a better chance of accepting the information.
