Emmerdale fans baffled as two major characters ‘go missing’ from ITV soap

-

Thursday night’s episode of Emmerdale was filled with drama after Chloe Harris attempted to kiss Mackenzie Boyd but was turned down.
However, a few minutes into the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, viewers started asking on Twitter where two of the main characters were.

Some viewers questioned whether Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) had left the village.

@Onelifee3 used Twitter to inquire about Dawn and Billy’s whereabouts: “Where have Dawn & Billy gone? #emmerdale “Did they leave?

@Lydiargh1 Is Dawn and Billy missing from #Emmerdale or have I not been paying attention?

The prompt response from @PaulPoeUK was, “On vacation with Rishi.”

Following the farmer’s car accident in which Alex Moore (Liam Boyle) was hit, Dawn and Billy have taken a backseat in the ITV soap opera.

Following Alex’s unexpected arrival, the couple had also been arguing over who would get custody of Lucas Taylor (Noah Ryan Aspinall) and Clemmie Reed (Mabel Addison).

But when Lucas’ father emerged from his coma, he was aware that Billy was the one who had struck him.

Alex was told to leave the village by vicar Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) after he threatened to call the police.

Charles was able to easily scare the drug dealer away, and when he left the hospital, the dealer eventually left the village.

And it appears that Dawn and Billy have remained under the radar ever since.

Ethan, the son of Charles (played by Emilio Johns), is another figure who has been missing from the community.

Fans quickly pointed out that Ethan was not present when the vicar’s mother recently arrived in the Dales in recent scenes.

Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), the father of Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland), appeared to be getting closer to her during Thursday night’s episode.

The parents wanted to celebrate when Reuben received the all-clear from the hospital, but Chloe seemed to misinterpret the cues.

The young mother leaned in to kiss Mack, but the farmer quickly pushed her away, claiming that Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) was still his true love.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
