Fans of the ITV stalwart Emmerdale saw another iconic “Dingle court” trial on Monday’s episode, and some now think they know who Caleb Dingle’s potential attacker might be.
William Ash’s character Caleb Dingle, or Miligan, will be shoved down a cliff in scenes that will show later this week, according to Emmerdale.
Unsurprisingly, there will be a few suspects in the mix, leading to the classic “whodunnit” mystery.
In a traditional family court hearing, the Dingles debated whether to allow Caleb to stay or force him to leave in Monday’s episode of the ITV soap opera.
Some members of the enduring Emmerdale family wanted to give the cunning Caleb another chance, while others wanted to get rid of him as quickly as possible.
Viewers believe that the scenes provided a hint as to who might have later pushed Caleb off the cliff.

The Dingles got into a contentious argument over Caleb’s departure under the leadership of Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
Even though he sought to make his own case as soon as he entered the room, Caleb vowed that he would not be going regardless of how the Dingle vote turned out.
He questioned, “I don’t know how this works, but if I’m guilty, who pulls the trigger?”
“You know, I really don’t care about your silly vote, raise your hand, or tick a box,” he continued.

Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) remarked, “You’ve got some front, rocking up here like you’ve done nothing wrong.”
Jack Downham’s character Noah Dingle said, “Perhaps we should hear what he has to say.”
This was never about anyone in this room, I’ll repeat that, Caleb said, adding, “I came here for Kim. I intended to put an end to her and leave her with nothing.
“I’m sorry to all of you for what’s happened, and I’m not going anywhere,” I said.
Fans predicted, however, that nobody from the court would actually shove Caleb.
While there was disagreement among fans as to who might attempt to kill Caleb, many thought it would be his adopted son, Nicky Miligan (Lewis Cope).

“Thanks to his father, Nicky has lost everyone. He is so enraged that he wants to push Caleb down a cliff, according to @wavey1068’s tweet about Emmerdale.
“I’m calling it Nicky will push Caleb next week,” wrote @AllThatJazz_i. “It’s the way he treats him #Emmerdale.”
Thoughts from fans varied, with @TwellyWatcher on Twitter speculating: “A lot of Nate appearances lately – may be be the one to push Caleb? He seems to be getting quite worked up over him in #Emmerdale, but I doubt it.
So Caleb is still hanging out, @ASuperGav appeared to imply that someone from the Dingle Court would be the perpetrator. Deathwish, I believe, for #Emmerdale.
Let’s start with Will and Kim, @Emmerdale2dae continued.Recently, the two have become a powerful power couple, especially while Alex was causing Dawn problems. Could they band together and pressure Caleb?
