In Emmerdale, Nicky Milligan and Gabby Thomas are getting married, but viewers believe his secret is about to be revealed by an unlikely character.
Viewers of Emmerdale are aware that Nicky Milligan (played by Lewis Cope), who is actually gay, is leading a double life and is not in love with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).
Gabby is still unaware of his sexual orientation and the fact that his father Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) is forcing their marriage for financial gain.
Emmerdale’s Tuesday episode featured Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) meeting Nicky and Gabby for drinks at The Woolpack.
“This wedding,” Bernice enquired of Gabby and Nicky, “is there anything else which needs doing as it’s soon upon us?”
Bernice was honored to accept Gabby’s request to walk her down the aisle.
Bernice sighed, “Let’s face it, it will probably be the last time I walk down an aisle.”
“Even if half of my husbands turned out to be homosexual, it’s not my fault that four of my marriages failed. Before they say I do, people need to be more truthful.
Nicky awkwardly laughed and ordered more drinks from the bar when Bernice questioned him about whether or not he had any skeletons in his closet.
“He’s got gorgeous skin Gabby, are you sure he’s not gay?” Bernice asked as he left.
Fans of Emmerdale were led to believe by Bernice’s remarks that Nicky’s sexual orientation would be made public before his wedding.
“50% of Bernice’s boyfriends and husbands turned out to be homosexual,” Matthew wrote on Twitter. Nicky suddenly wants to leave as soon as this conversation begins.

Owen added: “Love Bernice, ‘I will walk you down the aisle but are you sure he’s not gay, he’s got nice skin’ #Emmerdale.” Emma remarked: “Lols. Bernice complains about her husbands being gay right in front of Nicky who is gay and gonna marry Gabby.” (sic) Tam O’Driscoll commented: “Bernice is funny, ‘Nicky has nice skin are you sure he is not gay?’ #Emmerdale.” (sic)
