Emmerdale history to repeat itself as fans spot Caleb Milligan redemption clue

-

Fans of Emmerdale are donning their detective hats in an effort to determine who may have pushed Caleb Milligan over the edge, leaving him to struggle for his life.

If Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) survives, some Emmerdale viewers wonder if he might have a similar redemption story to his brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).

Following Friday’s episode of Emmerdale, Reddit user BlackBalor made the following prediction: “Funny how what happened to Caleb is the same thing that happened to Cain years ago.

The entire village despised Cain. He irritated everyone. There was a mystery.

“It turns out Zak (Dingle, Steve Halliwell) was the one who bashed his head in with a lug wrench or something like that.

I’m going to say Nicky was the one who hurt Caleb. (sic)

“He ain’t around right now, and they didn’t show him on screen to make you think it was him,” the Emmerdale fan continued. Perhaps that is too obvious, but I’ll continue anyway.

ITV soap opera viewers may recall that Cain was brutally attacked back in December 2011.

Regarding the incident, his father Zak was behaving very dubiously and refused to go see his son in the hospital.

Later it became clear that he had actually assaulted Cain, and when Cain tried to have Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) put in jail for the attack, he confessed to having done so.

In a dramatic exchange, he admitted to his son, “You know damn well that it wasn’t Jai. Because you know for sure that I did it.

Zak intended to turn himself in for the crime, but Cain hid his dad’s involvement and walked back his accusation of Jai.

Could the Reddit user be right when they said that Caleb, after his near-death experience, will follow in Can’s footsteps?

Although Caleb hasn’t been in the soap for very long, he’s already amassed a large number of adversaries in the community.

He even went before one of the infamous “Dingle Courts” earlier this week, where several family members openly admitted they wanted him to leave the community.

By later having an affair with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), he made Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) yet another suspect in the ongoing mystery.

If Caleb survives the assault, perhaps he will change for the better like Cain and establish himself as a main character in the The Dales-based soap opera.
