Fans of the ITV soap opera Emmerdale are convinced that a character is returning to the show after almost ten years away.
A former Emmerdale actor’s cryptic remark about the most recent episode of the ITV drama serial has created a social media frenzy among viewers.
Fans are hoping that Andy Sugden, who was portrayed by Kelvin Fletcher in Emmerdale from 1996 to 2016, makes a comeback to the community to save Moira Barton (played by Natalie J. Robb) from her cunning brother-in-law Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) and Kim Tate (Claire King).
On Wednesday’s episode of the soap opera, Moira was forced to make a difficult choice and consider selling her prized farmland.
In an effort to keep the businesswoman on his side as he continues to try to drain her of all of her money, Caleb has been pressuring Moira to sell the farm to the evil Kim of the village.
Although Moira wasn’t persuaded, she was forced to sell her farm to Kim after Caleb ruined her business.

It seems like Caleb is content to blame his family for his success in robbing Kim of everything she owns.
Due to its proximity to Home Farm, he wants Moira and her husband Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) land.
But viewers are hoping that Andy, played by Kelvin, who used to work on Moira’s farm, will make a comeback.

On Emmerdale’s Instagram, Kelvin, who played Andy, hinted at a potential return by writing: “I’ll buy it.”
Fans believed it was a hint he might return to Emmerdale despite the possibility that it was just a reference to the fact that he owns a farm in the Macclesfield region.
Many ITV soap opera fans begged Kelvin to return in their cries, and Ethan responded, “Yes, a new story someone buys the farm, but who? Of course Andy.
Kelvin Fletcher, that would be the best, said Lyn. (sic)
Jim continued, “Yes, please, I’m sure everyone would love to see you back.”
Yes, Sabrina said, “I agree! Call from the mysterious bidder at the auction. Excellent!”
“Oh please do,” said @Mulberrylife. You now possess practical experience. You could definitely make it work. Does Moira really own any animals, after all? She doesn’t even own a dog.
