In upcoming scenes from the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, veteran actor Charity Dingle might find herself in a love triangle.
According to Emmerdale viewers, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) will rekindle their romance in an unexpected twist.
Following Mack’s betrayal, Charity dumped him, and the farmer immediately started dating Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland), the mother of his child.
The only person who thought Mack didn’t push Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) to his death, Charity and Mack appeared to get closer in recent scenes.
The couple’s brief heart-to-heart on Friday’s episode gave fans hope that they might be able to patch things up.
Don’t think anything, Charity warned Mack.
He replied: “You were the only one who believed in me, so I owe you that much but maybe best to keep our distance.”
“Wow, that’s pretty brutal,” Charity quipped. “It’s really happening then, I thought it was all off.”
Mack went on: ” Yeah, it’s amazing given all the fascinating distractions that a police cell gives you and how much time you have to reflect.
“I have to make a home for Reuben at least, I haven’t seen him in days and it’s killed me. I have actually really missed her as well.”
Clearly taken aback, Charity said: “Right, well, no more Caleb for me, but I am officially back on the horse. Not that I am saying Chloe is a horse.
“Do you think you’ll still win her over then?”
“Not if you’re still here,” Mack fired back.
Fans took to Twitter in droves to share their thoughts on Mack and Chloe’s storyline.
Many seem to think history could repeat itself after Mack and Charity end up back together.
One keen observer even suggested Charity might be expecting a child as a result of her liaison with Caleb.
@ TwellyWatcher questioned, “Will Charity and Mack reconcile? In #Emmerdale, she is advocating for him.
“@emmerdale really wanted Mack and Charity back together,” said @suzysasha. I desire Charity’s happiness.
