When Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) learned that Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) had slept with Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) and is the father of her child in Emmerdale, her entire world was turned upside down. However, he was still completely taken aback when she requested a divorce in Friday’s (June 2) episode.
Chloe and Mackenzie have been spending a lot of time together lately, and as a result, she has begun to feel her love for him once more.
This resulted in Chloe wanting to kiss Mack this week, but he rejected the attempt and explained that she was just acting out of emotion after visiting their son in the hospital.
Chloe remained adamant and informed him how she felt, adding that she believes they may eventually be a normal family, despite Mack’s efforts to ignore it.

Mack was once more asked about his thoughts tonight when he saw Charity and Moses at The Hide, leaving him perplexed and unable to come up with an answer for himself.
Moses and Mackenzie played football before Mackenzie joined them for a meal.
He joked that Charity had tomato on her face after getting a little carried away. A look on Charity’s face showed she wasn’t impressed by Mack’s attempt to strike up a conversation as he tried to clean it off.
A displeased Charity informed Mackenzie that she wants a divorce as Moses indulged in ice cream.
He was speechless and frantically attempted to tell Charity that he loves her and is miserable as hell by himself.
Charity would not be persuaded. She reaffirmed that Mackenzie could apologise every day and it still wouldn’t be sufficient and expressed her irritation at her attempt to play the happy families game with Moses.
Reuben gave Mackenzie an update as she stopped by to check on Chloe before she put Reuben to bed. He told her that while he is flattered, they cannot be together because his marriage has just dissolved.
Chloe saw Mack with their child and wondered if she would succeed in her quest.
