Karene Peters, who plays Naomi Walters on the ITV soap Emmerdale, is said to be quitting the serial drama after just one season.
Naomi Walters, portrayed by Emmerdale actress Karene Peters, debuted in the Yorkshire-based soap opera last year as the long-lost daughter of village vicar Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin).
As soon as she was identified as one of Nicola King’s (Nicola Wheeler) attackers, she was thrust into the drama.
Later, she began dating Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter), but things recently ended badly for the couple.
When her father Charles discovered Alex Moore (Liam Boyle), the village bad guy, with drugs in his possession, Naomi even got caught up with him.
According to reports, Karene is reportedly filming her final scenes as after a hectic year on the ITV soap
Source: “Karene’s loved her time on the soap, but it is time for her to go,” The Sun reported.
She said, “Being on Emmerdale was a dream, but she became an actor to play different roles and that’s exactly what she wants to do.”
Although little is known about Naomi’s exit plot, the source insisted that she won’t be eliminated.
They said, “The door isn’t being closed on Naomi, so she could always come back later.”
It is understood that her exit plot will be developed over the summer.

Additionally, it appears that Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) will discover the truth regarding Mackenzie Boyd’s (Lawrence Robb) liaison with Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland).
There’s Charity, Chloe, and Mackenzie, said Jane. We are all aware that he has a child, and it is Chloe’s child, and that this is a big secret that will soon be revealed. So the question is, “When will it be released?”
