If Caleb Milligan doesn’t survive a terrifying fall, several Emmerdale characters may be held accountable for a murder in upcoming scenes.
Will Ash’s character Caleb Milligan from Emmerdale has made a number of enemies since moving to the Yorkshire Dales less than a year ago.
In December, Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) long-lost brother made his ITV soap opera debut.
But ever since he showed up in the village, he has been plotting to get rid of Kim Tate (Claire King).
This month, his plan to drain her of all her money was finally discovered, and the villagers have turned against him.
In dramatic scenes that have yet to air, the character might suffer a grisly death by being pushed off a cliff.
Before the episode aired, Caleb actor Will talked about how his character was attacked by an unidentified attacker as part of the suspenseful plot.
“I think I found out about it just before we were doing the whole thing when he’s trying to take over from Home Farm, so I knew it was going to be from the fallout of that,” Will told Daily Star.
“I knew there would be a lot of people who could be involved, but I was excited about it because it’s always nice to hint that this newly introduced character might be killed off.
I was intrigued by it because of the potential for conflict that could result from it as well as who it might be.
The main suspects in the assault on Caleb are Cain, Mackenize Boyd (Lawrence Robb), Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi).
If Caleb survives the dangerous fall, Will teased, “He’s one of those people who will hold a grudge for a while. His whole life he’s held this grudge with his family,” in reference to whether or not he will seek revenge on his attacker.
“The gun is loaded for whoever that person is because someone tried to kill him, essentially.”
Fans of Emmerdale will have to wait to find out who is pushing Caleb, but ITV spoilers have revealed Mackenzie will be arrested soon.
When Mackenzie’s alibi does not fit, police officers still arrest him despite his assurances that he is not connected to Caleb’s fall.
Have the police identified the incorrect person? If Caleb doesn’t survive, will Mackenzie end up facing murder charges?
