In the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, Bernice Blackstock has had bad luck with love. However, when she shares a private moment with her business partner Bob Hope, things could take an unexpected turn.
In scenes that will air on Emmerdale, Tony Audenshaw’s character, Bob Hope, and Samantha Giles’ character, Bernice Blackstock, try to mend their broken friendship after the opening of their B&B.
Bob quickly rejects Bernice’s advances when she leans in to kiss him, according to official spoilers released by ITV.
Bernice is horrified when an agitated Bob leaves the room in response to their growing chemistry and flirtation.
Unbeknownst to Bob, Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson), who is also caught up in the excitement, ends up kissing Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) passionately.
However, if both of Bob and Bernice’s betrayals are discovered, their company may be in danger.
The actors who play Bob and Bernice discussed their most recent plotline and how it will impact their characters’ friendship and business in a new interview with Express.co.uk and other media.
Despite feeling lonely, Samantha acknowledged Bernice does “have genuine feelings” for Bob.
Tony’s response, when asked if Bob has feelings for Bernice, was, “It’s hard to say really.
He frequently claims to find her attractive, and I believe he finds her feistiness and commanding personality appealing.
The soap star responded when asked if Bob and Wendy’s romance has “gone stale”: “I’d say so, yeah.
“Bob is the most uninteresting man on the planet, so it’s interesting,” Bob has taken up bird watching, and he enjoys going out for coffee.
It is a gradual process that occurs in life because he is growing older and less interesting in life.
The Bernice Blackstock star continued, “He’s very different from any man she has gone for before, isn’t he? She’s been rejected, and the B&B is getting bad reviews.
Since the B&B has received so many negative reviews and everyone claims the wine is disgusting, they are trying out different wines.
“So Bob takes matters into his own hands, buys a lot of wine, and sort of coerces her into accepting his proposal.
Of course, she starts drinking it instead of doing the spitting into the bucket thing.
She sort of approaches him with the idea of sharing a kiss, but he sort of pulls away abruptly, leaving her with, in essence, egg on her face.
Because Bernice has been disappointed by a number of men in the past, Bob’s rejection may also damage their professional relationship. As a result, could Bernice lose her cherished B&B?
