After witnessing Mackenzie Boyd and Chloe Harris sharing a kiss, Charity Dingle, an Emmerdale resident, is about to experience more heartache in upcoming scenes.
Since learning that her husband, Mackenzie Boyd (played by Lawrence Robb), had an affair with Chloe Harris (played by Jessie Elland), Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), of Emmerdale, has been making an effort to maintain a brave façade.
Following their one-night stand, Chloe became pregnant with Mack’s child.
When baby Reuben was born, Charity discovered that Mack was the father, despite the couple’s best efforts to conceal the pregnancy.
Although Charity has made an effort to move on from Mack, according to official ITV spoilers, the pub owner’s situation is about to deteriorate.
The popular person in Dingle will have a challenging week as Mackenzie spends time with Chloe and visits his son Reuben.
Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill), Charity’s granddaughter, struggles with the decision of whether to tell her grandmother about Mackenzie and Chloe’s afternoon date.
The following day, Charity throws a surprise party for Sarah at The Woolpack while pretending to have forgotten her birthday.
She reluctantly invites Chloe to Sarah’s surprise birthday party in order to help Sarah, but tensions increase when Mackenzie shows up with Reuben.
Charity is upset because Mackenzie had assured her there was no romance between him and Chloe and that he was just Reuben’s dad. However, later, in the backroom, Mackenzie and Chloe share a passionate kiss.
Mack’s emotional reaction to Reuben’s first smile makes both of them forget Charity is present.
As Charity describes what she saw to Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), she is enraged and full of vengeance.
The following day, Charity’s bluster fails to persuade Chas that she is over Mack.
After their awkward kiss, Mack and Chloe decide to leave their relationship open-ended.
What lengths will the landlady go to in an effort to exact the ultimate retribution against Mack after he has already betrayed Charity twice?
