The proud owner of Home Farm, which is situated just outside the village, is Emmerdale legend Kim Tate. In recent scenes, Caleb Milligan’s attempt to inherit her estate has gone horribly wrong.
Will Ash’s character Caleb Milligan felt that Home Farm was his birthright because his late father, Frank Tate (Norman Bowler), who was Kim Tate’s (Claire King) ex-husband, had owned it in the past.
Long-time viewers of Emmerdale will remember how Kim the villain watched Frank suffer a heart attack in front of her and did nothing to save him in the past.
For the better part of a year, Caleb has been planning a bitter revenge plot to drain Kim of all her money and take over her beloved Home Farm.
But earlier this month, when the cunning businesswoman finally revealed Caleb’s plot, she demonstrated why she should not be trifled with.
She joined forces with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), Caleb’s brother, who also has a grudge against the newcomer to Emmerdale after he destroyed his and Moira Barton’s (Natalie J. Robb) business.
Although it appears that Kim and Cain have outwitted Caleb, could he have another scheme in mind?
Actress Claire discussed her character’s “biggest fear” with Express.co.uk and other media outlets.
She thought back to the time in 1992 when Frank discovered her having an affair and ejected her from Home Farm.
She was kicked out of Home Farm and ended up residing in the village, which was Claire’s biggest concern.
She may have prevented Caleb from draining her savings, but what if he finds another way to take over Home Farm? Could history repeat itself?
In response to a question about what viewers thought of Kim, Claire said, “I think they would probably like to see the downfall of Kim Tate but others are on Kim’s side, thinking, ‘They can’t do that, she belongs in that house!'”
Is there a way to prove that Caleb owns Home Farm because he is Frank’s son?
In upcoming scenes, a mysterious attacker pushes Caleb off a cliff, demonstrating that someone wants to get rid of him.
Could Kim be at fault? “I think some of the old Kim will resurface,” said Claire. The best-served cold may factor into it, and she will likely bide her time.
After discovering Caleb’s intricate web of lies, many villagers, including Cain, Moira, and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), have turned against him.
