Emmerdale’s Lucy Pargeter floors fans as she unveils enormous back tattoo

-

Fans were shocked when Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chas Dingle on Emmerdale, revealed her extensive new tattoo, which covers the majority of her back.

The Emmerdale character Chas Dingle’s actress Lucy Pargeter announced a massive new tattoo on her back via Twitter.

The 46-year-old actress is shown in the black and white photo standing with her back to the camera and a white sheet covering her shoulders, leaving her back unclothed.

Lucy simply captioned the picture with six love hearts to express her joy over the artwork without mentioning the artist who created it.

The intricate, finely detailed pattern spans the back of her ribs and features flowers connected by a chandelier-style design.

The inking’s creator, Leeds-based tattoo artist Olivia Fayne, also shared pictures of the design on Instagram.

She captioned three images of Lucy holding up the enormous piece of art with the following: “Fresh and healed on the lovely Lucy, what a laugh we’ve had.”

“You are the most incredible human, artist, and kindred spirit I am honored to have been blessed to meet,” Lucy wrote in a gushing response to the post.

On Twitter, admirers were quick to express their approval for the inking.

@mumofthreekids, a user, commented: “Simply Amazing!! Wow.” (sic)

The words “Absolutely beautiful piece of art” were written by @xdebbiej23x, who also included five heart emojis. (sic)

Tweeted @c055i3: “That is stunning!” then a heart-eyed cat emoji was displayed.

A user with the handle @Magenta81071511 expressed desire for the design by writing “Want,” followed by a heart emoji.

Given that the cast of Emmerdale typically has to cover up due to the weather in Leeds, where the show is filmed, it is unlikely that Lucy will soon be showcasing the design on-screen.

Recently, Chas has been at the center of several difficult storylines, such as the suicide death of her mother Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) as she fought cancer.

In addition, she has witnessed the breakdown of her marriage to Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) as a result of her liaison with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).

After that, Paddy struggled with his mental health and even had suicidal thoughts, which caused her actions to be widely condemned by the public—something Lucy appeared to relish.

She responded to their criticism of her on-screen alter ego on Twitter.

Just a quick note of gratitude from myself and the Emmerdale family, she wrote.

We appreciate you taking the time to watch, enjoy, and invest so much in the stories we tell.

And based on many of your recent comments regarding Chas, I’d say it succeeded in our goal of getting people to talk.
