For Her Sins episode 1 cast: Who is in the Channel 5 thriller?

-

A new psychological suspense film called For Her Sins follows a mother who is keeping some terrible secrets.
This week, For Her Sins will premiere on Channel 5, and the show’s central narrative is both dark and compelling.

Laura Conroy’s daughter Eliza is approached by a mysterious stranger, who Laura immediately judges.

However, as the two get to know one another, Laura is drawn in by Emily Furness’s cunning behavior.

The summary states: “As Emily begins to infiltrate Laura’s life and poison it from the inside, she is unwittingly led down an increasingly dangerous path.

“And she’s convinced a journalist to work with her to bring Laura down as well. Yet why?

Who is in For Her Sins?

Laura Conroy – Jo Joyner

Laura is a woman who seems to have it all—a devoted husband, two lovely children, and a flourishing legal career.

But when no one is looking, she finds it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Jo Joyner, a 46-year-old actress best known for portraying Tanya Branning in EastEnders, plays the role.
The actress also played Luella Shakespeare in Shakespeare and Hathaway: Private Investigators and Mandy Carter in Ackley Bridge.

She explained why she was drawn to For Her Sins: “I’ve played in partnerships for 25 years, but I haven’t been a part of one that closely involved other women since No Angels.

Emily Furness – Rachel Shenton

Although Emily is attractive and intelligent, tragedy has left her with a troubled past.

She learned to use her wits, emotional intelligence, and beauty to survive and get what she wants as she learned to fend for herself as she grew up.

Rachel Shenton, who is best known for playing Helen Alderson in All Creatures Great and Small, portrays the master manipulator.

She first gained notoriety for her portrayal of Mitzeee Minniver in Hollyoaks.

Speaking of her new position, she stated: “Emily was someone I could understand even if I didn’t agree with her, which is why I liked her when I first read the book.

“That’s a great vantage point from which to work.”

Rob Conroy – Duncan Pow

Rob, Laura’s husband, is the CEO of a young tech start-up and a loving husband and father to their two young children.

Like any married couple, they have their own unique parenting styles and occasionally disagree.

Duncan Pow, a 45-year-old Scottish actor best known for his work on Dream Team and Holby City, plays Rob.

In the Star Wars movie Rogue One, the actor also portrayed Ruescott Melshi.

Eliza Conroy – Romi Hyland-Rylands

Eliza, Laura’s 7-year-old daughter, is having a challenging time in school right now.

Romi Hyland-Rylands, a young actress who made her professional acting debut at the Liverpool Playhouse in the musical Miracle on 34th Street, plays the role of the character.

In the BBC series The Responder, she played Martin Freeman’s opposite in her first TV role.

Maggie – Ann Mitchell

Later in the series, Maggie makes an appearance as Laura’s lawyer-educated mother.

Although she is close to her daughter, the two of them do not always agree on everything.

Ann Mitchell, an 84-year-old actress best known for her work in Through the Leaves and Widows, portrays Maggie.

She and Jo Joyner have, coincidentally, previously played mother and daughter, with Ann starring as Tanya’s mother Cora in EastEnders.

She said of their resuming their collaboration: “I was over the moon. It was wonderful to see her once more.

“I recall that when we first met on this project, the sun was shining, she and Rachel had just finished applying makeup, and it was so lovely to see Jo with the

Tom – Ansu Kabia

Tom, a lawyer and Laura’s former love interest, is still somewhat attractive to her.

Ansu Kabia, a stage and screen actor best known for his role as Moses in Miss Scarlet and the Duke, plays Tom.

The Sandman, World on Fire, and I May Destroy You are some of his other works.

For Her Sins airs on Channel 5 from Monday, June 5 at 9pm.
