Numerous residents will be under pressure from Emmerdale the following week as many of their futures are uncertain.

-

When it comes to April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) becoming involved with the wrong crowd, Rhona Goskirk (played by Zoe Henry) is likely to face opposition. April’s disobedience to Rhona and her father Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) may strain their bond. After encountering an irate David Metcalfe, Leyla Cavanagh (Roxy Shahidi) may decide to fight to see her son Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) (Matthew Wolfenden). As the police get closer to learning the truth about Al Chapman’s (Michael Wildman) murder, the Dingle family is under pressure.

Rhona and Naomi clash over influence on April

There is still tension between Naomi Walters (Karene Peter) and Rhona when she is late for work at the Woolpack.

April punches Marshall after they argue when Marshall first enters the cafe.

When Rhona learns that April had a piercing in addition to punching someone, things get even worse for her.

Rhona begins to worry about Naomi’s negative influence while Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) is in her ear. Soon after, Rhona confronts Naomi about her power over April.

When Marlon doesn’t support Rhona during their physical altercation over their disagreement, Rhona is furious.

The following day, Rhona arranges a surprise party with an 80s theme in an effort to mend fences with April.

Later, Naomi arrives to discover Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) enquiring about Rhona, leaving her fearful of what’s to come.

Soon after, Naomi informs her father Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) that the Woolpack has fired her.

Rhona must decide how to proceed with her behavior after April admits to Rhona and Marlon that the belly button piercing was her idea.

Leyla forced to take action against David after Jacob’s stabbing

When David urges Jacob to tell a lie to the police about the stabbing, Jacob is in the hospital but concerned.

When the police interrogate Jacob, he struggles but decides to tell the truth, and David is shocked to learn that Eric Pollard has made an offer to buy the shop (Christopher Chittell).

David is extremely relieved he will be able to keep his home and business, despite feeling bad that Eric’s retirement plans have been postponed.

The following day, when Leyla presses David for an update on what Jacob has disclosed to the police regarding the stabbing, David refuses to answer and reiterates his request that Leyla not interact with their son.

Will she concur? Or perhaps she has grown sufficiently brave to stand up for her son.

Dingles put under pressure as police uncover Kyle’s secret

Natalie Ann Jamieson’s character, Amy Wyatt, is alarmed when a policeman approaches her.

Both Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) are confronted by the police at Butler’s Farm, and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) is alarmed when the police want to take him to the station to answer some questions at Jacob’s Fold.

When DS Malik (Tibu Fortes) questions Moira about her trip away with Kyle Winchester, she sticks to her story (Huey Quinn).

While being interviewed by the police, Mackenzie remains silent when DS Malik presses him for information about Kyle, while a terrified Amy desperately tries to stay on the straight and narrow.

When DS Malik warns Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) about the serious repercussions of perverting the course of justice, poor Matty Barton is alarmed.

After spending the afternoon at the police station, Matty, Moira, Amy, and Mackenzie reunite at Butler’s Farm. They are aware of how serious the situation is for everyone.

The following day, Moira is still concerned about William Ash’s (Caleb Milligan’s) involvement in Kyle’s case.

Despite being aware of how serious the situation is, Caleb becomes defensive when Amy and Moira criticize his strategy.

When Cain schedules a call for that afternoon, Moira is relieved to be back on speaking terms.

However, things start to go south when DS Malik shows up at Butlers to bring a tense Kyle back in for questioning. Kyle confirms that he killed Al at the police station.
